What is a virtual classroom?
Students and teachers interact and share access to the lesson content online through audio and video links using the latest in computer technology.
These lessons are recorded and can be revisited at any time by students and teachers.
Outside of the allocated lesson time, students can communicate with their teacher by email or phone.
Students also have access to other course and assessment materials through an online resources bank; this is available 24 hours a day. Students can engage in productive interactions using structured discussion forums, chat rooms and texting.

Who are the teachers?
Only highly experienced teachers are selected, from schools across the district, for the role of delivery teacher. They have been given extensive training in online instruction.
Teachers are responsible for assessing student performance and reporting to parents and the Curriculum Council of WA.
Each student has a learning facilitator at the local school to supervise and support students during the allocated class time.
